Petoi Voice Recognition Module Compatible with Arduino

the voice module is just funner than the previous IR remote control. and the code upgrade has much more to make my son laugh. a worthwhile upgrade for our bittle, and i'd suggest new purchasers get the newest model that already includes voice,

had no issues getting the module working.

Followed the online instructions to install the module and modify the Bittle firmware to activate voice control. Everything worked as advertised. Pretty cool!

I got this to add voice controls to Nybble. Since I'm upgrading Nybble to the BiBoard and BiBoard Hat I'll repurpose this module for another project as the BiBoard Hat includes a built in voice module.

That said, this works quite well. It does sometimes trigger on words that are not in it's list. For example when there is a video running in the background it sometimes thinks it hears hello when that word was not uttered. But that is to be expected since this module is not trained on your voice, so it works with the widest range of voices possible.

But for the price it works extremely well, and is very easy to use.

I haven't tried adding any phrases yet, but expect that to be pretty easy.

If you want Nybble (or Bittle) to respond to voice commands as in the ads you will need this module or the BiBoard/BiBoard hat combo.
